Fans of The Real Housewives of New York City know that when Dorinda Medley’s involved, it’s always a party. That’s why Saratoga Living is so excited to team up with the “hostess with the mostest” once again (you may remember our 2019 cover story on and boozy brunch with the reality TV star), this time to promote the release of her brand-new book, Make It Nice.
On September 30 from 5-7pm, ‘Saratoga Living’ will be joined by Northshire Bookstore for a happy-hour meet-and-greet and book-signing with Dorinda at The Adelphi Hotel. Each attendee will be treated to complimentary hors d’oeuvres and cocktails (made by Dorinda using her Bluestone Manor bourbon!) in addition to a photo with the former Housewife and one signed copy of Make It Nice.
Named after her own personal motto, Make It Nice is a candid memoir about Dorinda’s journey from her modest roots in the Berkshires to reality TV stardom, touching on themes of love, motherhood, loss and, yes, making it nice. “Dorinda,” the book’s synopsis reads, “clips away all pretense and noise to unveil the not-so-glamorous bumps in the road that have marked her colorful journey toward becoming the person viewers, colleagues, and friends know and love today.”
