I arrived at Bear’s Cup Bakehouse on a morning that seemed designed to test commitment. The sky over Broadway had opened up in sheets, and while it was the kind of weather that clears sidewalks, the rain wasn’t nearly enough to keep Saratogians from checking out downtown’s newest bakery.
